All three companies came together for a couple of brainstorm sessions and we ended up with a concept based upon an ambassador driven film creation idea. 100 selected Danish people made 5 man teams and were given a phone each and they were told to make 10 sec videos based on 100 keywords. These films were merged together to three movies directed by noted Danish Directors and shown in one of the big movie theaters in Copenhagen. The winning team receives 100.000 dkr. Winner to be announced soon. The brief to me was to be inspired by the interior and especially the dashboard of popular Toyota models and build the interface from that. I decided on using the Start/Stop button from the 2011 Avensis, elements from the steering wheel together with leather and stitching to build an interface that suits the format and purpose but gives a lot of familiar feelings to the Toyota owners. I made the initial design which was handed over to a design team who made some of the sub pages. The app shown is the finished product.
